Assassination in Carson
CARSON, December 10. – Joe Magee was assassinated in the St. Nicholas Saloon, at four o’clock this morning. The gun was fired through the window, from the street. The murderer is not known. It is thought Magee assassinated Jack Williams in Virginia last Winter.
